I can certainly see these doing well, not only for Heresy players, but also for those who play 40k wanting to add a tank from the Dark Age.īuilding and painting this has really fired me up to add more armour to my Dark Angels (and to get the army finished and on the tabletop for that matter!). GW have done an excellent job of taking a superb resin tank and turning it into a fully fledged plastic kit. The sponsons are super easy to take on and off, and I’ve not glued the turret, making it much easier to paint and position for added cool-ness mid-battles. I do intend to go back and add some transfers, but even without them I’m really happy with the end result. For a simple scheme it really really works on the Sicaran. I’ve really tried to take this opportunity to push my painting on this one, and I’m very happy with the results. My Legion of choice for Horus Heresy is the 1st Legion, the Dark Angels! You can choose to have the top hatch open or closed, and if you go for open it can have a Space Marine Gunner or Commander popping out the top.
